the reception staff were friendly and happy, so that was acceptable.

i encountered a problem with the laundry service. i asked them to dry clean some trousers, but they washed them instead. the trousers shrank at least three inches. the hotel only offered an apology and some fruit. i also found the steak at anton bar chewy and the fries arrived late.

The staff welcomed me warmly, and check-in was quick. Ruslan upgraded me to a lovely room. My room was super clean and spacious. The breakfast was a highlight, thanks to the matcha and attentiveness of Gabor, Anthony, and Valentina. the amazing 'Croffle' offering.

I noticed a slight noise in the morning from building work on the floor above. it was minor.

The location is PERFECT. Many top sites and places to visit are a short walk away. The hotel is right in the center of everything, yet quiet. I appreciated the central location.

The Pavilion area was really good for breakfast and lunch. I found the breakfast team amazing, especially Adel, Malajka and Akos. The eggs benedict was very special and delicious!!!

Mixed Feelings About This Stay

slow serviceunresolved situation

I had some disappointments. The air conditioning didn't work well. I set it to the lowest setting, but the room barely cooled. I mentioned this to the staff but the situation was unresolved. the service at breakfast was slow. It often took about 20 minutes to get coffee, so I was usually finished with my meal before it arrived. That was not good.
