The room was spacious and was well kept upon arrival.
The automatic temperature control was frustrating. The hotel decides what temperature is best for you, heating in winter and cooling in summer. My room became uncomfortably hot, and attempts to adjust the temperature through reception proved ineffective. It reverted to default settings after a few hours. Opening the window was not an option due to the quadruple glazing intended to block noise from the busy street outside... it was like a gilded cage.

The room was quite spacious and very clean. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The bathroom was also quite large.. the shower was definitely a highlight.
The sofas were not comfortable at all. I booked the large apartment for up to five people, but there were only three spoons, forks, and knives provided. We also found only seven coffee pods for a three night stay.

The breakfast each morning seemed like a special treat. i found the selection both fresh and diverse! the garden behind the building offered a serene space. i enjoyed a moment there. It felt tranquil. the team preserved the hotel's history with newspaper articles in the halls. i appreciated that touch.

i appreciated the room size. the large bed was comfortable. the bathroom facilities were great. reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
the location was further from christmas markets than expected. i found the front desk not overly helpful with restaurant reservations. i also found the morning shift receptionist a little uncooperative.
