Rowan Cottage includes a super king, a double, and two single beds, plus a private garden and hot tub. Some rooms offer garden views.
Dining at Derwent Manor
The hotel offers multiple dining options. Prego provides modern dining with English cuisine, steaks, pastas, and wood-fired pizzas, and is open for dinner from 5:00 PM to 9:15 PM. The Antler Bar & Terrace features areas for dining or drinks near a fireplace, with patio seating available. Meals are served all day, along with wines and beverages. Afternoon tea is served in the Antler Bar, Lounge & Terrace from 12 PM to 4 PM. Traditional Northumbrian breakfast is served in Prego from 7 AM to 10 AM Monday to Friday, and 8 AM to 10 AM Saturday & Sunday.

Onsite leisure facilities include a swimming pool, gym, sauna, and spa bath. Consett Gold Club, featuring an 18-hole course, is nearby. Guests can visit Kielder Water for outdoor activities. A new spa with six treatment rooms is scheduled to open in 2024/25.
