The stylish hotel was very clean. I found the location convenient for accessing the train and exploring sights. The staff were friendly and helpful (i appreciate that!). The bar was wonderful.
Adjusting the key card to use the stairs was necessary. A deposit was taken without clear explanation. The lack of a minibar also.

The bar manager called my room late at night. He demanded i come down to settle a bill i had already signed for. i refused, and he became aggressive. i mentioned this at checkout, but there was no follow-up. i probably won't go back because of this strange experience.

the staff helped plan my boyfriend's birthday. they organised balloons and pictures before we arrived, so it was a surprise. i also got a complimentary late check out.
i found adjusting my key card necessary for stair use. also, they took a £50 deposit without explaining it. this.
