Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort features 53 guest rooms and suites, each with individual design, luxury furnishings, and views of the river, Kilpatrick Hills, or landscaped gardens. Classic Rooms feature super king-sized beds. Junior Suites offer separate lounge areas and views of the golf course or River Clyde. Grand Suites include four-poster beds, separate living areas, and roll-top baths with views of the Kilpatrick hills and River Clyde. Amenities offered in all rooms consist of Egyptian cotton linen, bathrobes and slippers, and Arran Aromatics bath salts.

Dining Options

Guests may dine in the Grand Hall with views of the grounds through Edwardian windows. There is also an Italian-themed restaurant. The Cristal restaurant features Scottish seasonal dishes, serving lunch and dinner. The Spike Bar offers a spot for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. No. 19 Bar & Grill serves family favorites, specialty coffees and classic cocktails, with alfresco dining overlooking the Earl of Mar Estate and the River Clyde. Afternoon tea includes scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, accompanied by teas from around the world.

Leisure and Entertainment

Mar Hall includes a 15-meter swimming pool, thermal suite, and Decleor spa. Spa days include access to the swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms and fitness studio. The 18-hole Earl of Mar championship golf course offers views of the River Clyde and the Kilpatrick Hills. Guests have access to Mar Hall's facilities, the Spa, gym, and swimming pool. PGA Professional, Kirsten Scott, offers golf lessons. The intentionally designed course has two loops of 9, each returning to the Il Posto Clubhouse.

The room exceeded my expectations it was really large I loved the extra touches it felt premium. Staff were all helpful and polite. I enjoyed the bar and restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent and the service perfect
My only slight issue was a small delay at check-in but it was resolved quickly
