The Crusoe enjoys a unique location right on Largo Bay, providing opportunities for beach walks and coastal explorations, like a walk to Earlsferry along the Fife Coastal Trail. Guests often praise the sea views and find the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a highlight for many, while the restaurant and bar downstairs also receive positive mentions; however, some guests have noted that the showers are small enclosed cubicles. Acceptable stay, some issues present

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.
The basin in the room was blocked, and the shower overflowed because a bathmat was not correctly placed.

Balanced Experience

lovely breakfasttasty dinnerwhisky snugsmall portionsmall haddockmissing ingredient
The breakfast was really lovely every morning. Dinner was fantastic too. The whisky and gin snug was a highlight with views of the beach. Sipping Merlot in it was blissful.
The small fish and chips portion was very small. Each of us got half of a very small haddock. I think a fish should be the main ingredient. We visited because another place is so good, but I will not return.

The location was wonderful and the staff were lovely. The room was a generous size with excellent equipment. I found some little extras like Tunnock's teacakes.
My wife and I had lunch. We both ordered the 'small fish and chips'. We actually received half each of a very small haddock, a waste of time. I would expect to receive a better portion.
