Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests frequently praise the beautifully maintained Cross Keys, a historic hotel dating back to 1579, often highlighting the imaginatively restored rooms with comfortable bedding. Many enjoyed features such as the free-standing bath or the claw bath in some rooms. While the car park is a short walk away, about 5 minutes via a footpath, the central location is appreciated; however, some guests have mentioned rooms in the annexe having access via steep spiral staircases and unusual bathroom layouts that may not suit everyone's taste. The superb breakfast is a consistent highlight, with options cooked to order.
