the room was spacious, a true haven for our family. its quirky layout offered a sense of togetherness and privacy, a balance i loved. the freshly cooked breakfast gave us a good start to our day.

the bar felt quite sticky and not very clean, a bit off-putting. our room was rather hot making sleep difficult, it was an unpleasant night. the road noise was relentless.

i appreciated the warm welcome i received during my two-night stay. the attentive staff, especially as i was traveling alone. the indoor play area was a delight with its books and games when my family joined me for lunch. the garden centre nearby was like a magical wonderland, just around the corner!

I noticed the proximity to a busy intersection made entering and exiting the car park require extra care. There were not many disabled parking spaces available, which could pose a problem for some guests.

The room had coffee and tea supplies. The beds made for a restful night. The room was spacious and allowed plenty of space to move around.

Our room was not set up as a family room upon arrival. A bucket on the floor caught a leak from the ceiling during our entire stay. The family room was the first room after leaving the pub, so guests passed by until closing time.
