dirty windows paint splash
i stayed one night. i found the temperature control lacking, staff control bedroom temperatures from reception. the room lacked a fridge and a suitable chair to watch tv. i did notice dirty windows and a paint splash, it wasn't pleasent.

modern room comfortable bed cornish biscuits tired room stained curtain dirty grouting
the room was spacious and modern. the bed was comfortable (like sleeping on a cloud). i found top-quality cornish biscuits to accompany hot drinks, a lovely touch.
the room seemed a bit tired. the shower curtain had stains, and the grouting looked dirty. the bathroom fan wouldn't switch off unless i removed the key card, annoying.

spacious room excellent staff
My room was quite spacious. The food in the restaurant tasted good. I also enjoyed the pub. It was bustling and lively. The staff was really excellent and very helpful.
The hotel room had no refrigerator. There also was no telephone to contact the reception when needed. My room faced the main road, which caused noticeable noise when windows were open.
