the room showed signs of wear. i noticed dirty hand marks around the door. also, breakfast was quite basic. it mainly consisted of cereal and toast, which i found a bit disappointing for the price. the bathroom felt cramped and could have been cleaner.

but this did not overshadow the stay or the value.

Lovely Lodge, Friendly Staff!

Regina was accommodating! I traveled with my dogs to visit family nearby. Dog treats were in reception. My dogs joined me in the dining area for breakfast. It was plentiful.

I felt a little sad for the building. It needs a good lot of repairs and updating.

regina greeted me very warmly upon my arrival. i loved that the hotel is set in grounds away from the road (very quiet!). the breakfast offered a plentiful and varied selection.

the room décor seemed a bit grubby to me. there were dirty hand marks around the door. i also felt a little sad since the building needs a good lot of repairs.
