Compton House enjoys a very central location in Ashbourne, making it easy to explore the town and with the Tissington Trail practically around the corner. Guests frequently highlight the spacious rooms, often complimented by well-equipped amenities, including a great selection of teas. Breakfast is a highlight for many, cooked fresh to order; however, a few guests mentioned early breakfast times on certain days. The breakfast time was excessively early at 9am on a sunday. I require a more reasonable hour. additionally, the owner exhibited a distinct lack of communication regarding on-site parking, forcing me to incur unnecessary expenses at a nearby facility costing £6.75.
