comfortable stay with great food
large room double beds coffee facilities excellent food
the room was quite large. i had two double beds that were very large. coffee making facilities were available. there was storage for my clothing. the bathroom was adequate with a bath, a shower, and a hairdryer. there were many sockets for charging devices. the staff were polite throughout the hotel. the food, breakfast, snacks, lunches, and dinners, were all excellent.

the hotel has a central location. this made it very easy to get to nearby restaurants, as well as the theatre. it was convenient for accessing different parts of the town.

My room had an iron and an ironing board. it also had the facilities for hot drinks. the room was well-equipped with cotton sheets and towels. I found this particularly good after my travels.

My room was very well equipped with cotton sheets and towels. I also had an iron and ironing board available to me. The breakfast menu was extensive , and the restaurant served good food at a reasonable price in the evening.

The bed in my room was indeed comfortable and ensured a restful sleep. I appreciated the warm, inviting open wood fire in the lounge (a great touch on a cold evening). The staff members were particularly friendly.

nice breakfast open fire
The breakfast was really nice. The staff remembered my preferences EACH day (i was so surprised!). The open wood fire in the lounge created a cozy atmosphere during the cold weather.
The lift was a bit quirky, and it felt quite small.

ideal location historical hotel friendly staff
The location was ideal. The hotel was historical. The decor was in keeping with its history. Roaring fires in the lounge made it comfortable to sit and enjoy a late beverage. Staff was so friendly. They did not regard anything as too much trouble.
The lobby did smell of dogs. I do not liked that at all.
