The hotel staff provided friendly service. They accommodated a room change with an upgrade. Breakfast featured good food, which started my day well. The room was clean, with a comfy bed and appealing decor, in an older style.

Finding the specific location for check-in and the room proved slightly challenging due to limited signage.

the welcome from the hotel staff felt genuinely warm and efficient i received an upgraded room which was a lovely surprise breakfast provided an excellent start to each day i particularly enjoyed the decor, it had a charming older style.

directions to check in lacked clarity when i arrived i wasn't sure where to go first.

i found the staff offered a warm welcome and efficient service. i appreciated the room upgrade i received, a thoughtful touch. breakfast was excellent (i especially liked the variety!) and it provided a great start to each day. the decor had older style elements, i found it appealing and the bed was comfortable.

the location of the room door near the staircase resulted in noise due to people passing by. this could be disruptive, especially during peak times. i hope the hotel considers soundproofing measures to improve the experience in similar rooms.

the twin room was beautiful and so quiet. breakfast had so much choice, it was excellent! staff were friendly and cute, a pure delight. the setting on that sweet quiet road was peaceful.

the permit parking required a bit of street searching though!

The staff was helpful and friendly. My room was nice and neat. I found a good supply of toiletries in the bathroom and an excellent shower.

The directions to check in were not clear. I saw that the address directed me to Main Reception on Florence road. I did not realize the hotel was part of The Mercer group. This could have saved me some stress.

I found the staff polite and helpful. The hotel enjoys a lovely location close to the seashore and pier. The walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants in Southsea took only ten minutes. i really enjoyed my stay here.
