The staff was friendly and helpful.. The room was nice and neat, and I had a good night's sleep. I enjoyed the Sunday roast dinner. It was gorgeous.

The absence of an elevator made it slightly inconvenient to carry luggage.

the welcome was genuinely warm. staff proved helpful throughout my visit. i found the pub food tasty and the atmosphere relaxing. breakfast was a good experience each morning with several choices.

the ale selection, while decent, did not entirely reach my high expectations based on some previous reviews.
