Room Experience: Scenic views of the lake

“I think the location, right on Loch Earn, is a real draw, and many rooms take full advantage with beautiful water views. The Rowan Bistro seems to be a solid choice for local dishes, and the bar has a good selection, especially if you like gin. For outdoorsy types, its proximity to hiking trails in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park makes it a convenient base.”

dated room low shower pressure
the location was acceptable as a base for exploring. it was easy enough to find.
The room felt quite dated. the tv remote didn't work, i found this particularly frustrating. the bathroom was very small and the shower pressure was low. It made it difficult to have a proper wash.

a stay with mixed results

missing soap small towels
the room were clean when i arrived, i suppose.
My bathroom did not include soap, so that was not useful at all. the towels, they reminded me of sandpaper and were quite small. furthermore, the hairdryer in the room did not work. It just made a concerning buzzing noise.
