mixed feelings about my stay

thin walls early breakfast

the staff were kind during check-in and throughout my brief stay

i was frustrated to learn breakfast wasn't served until 8 am and i had to leave by 7.30 am so i missed it. the walls seemed very thin and i could hear a lot of noise from other guests. i didn't sleep well because of loud tv and hallway noise.

toilet flush tv problem

the toilet flush did not work so good. i looked for a staff member to fix the problem but that was a no go. also, the tv and wifi did not work neither, pretty annoying.

banging radiators 2cm gap

The banging radiators and pipes started at 9pm. this lasted an hour. then they started again at 6am. It sounded like someone hammered the pipes. do not accept room 17 because there is a 2cm gap under the door, allowing corridor noise and light in. this meant anyone passing sounded like they stood right next to the bed.

thin walls bathroom cleanliness

the staff were good in the pub, and it had a friendly atmosphere.

i didn't get a good night's sleep because the walls seemed really thin people next door were loud till late then other guests ran down the hall knocking on doors at 5:30 am the bathroom cleanliness wasn't great either.

The staff was very helpful and friendly . Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. I appreciated the good value for the meals and the room.

I noticed the paint peeling off the ceiling above the shower. I hope they address it soon.

some issues with the room

unadjustable shower head small window

the car park at the back felt secure.

The shower head could not be adjusted. the water didn't flow correctly over my head. the windows could only be opened slightly. It was hard to cool the room down.
