i stayed here to celebrate a birthday, and i found the room very clean and the bed comfortable. i liked that the bathroom had Molton Brown toiletries. breakfast included both buffet and cooked-to-order options. i also appreciated the provision of two fans in the room, and that was very thoughtful.
the reception area felt a little crowded when checking in.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel offered super friendly service. I enjoyed the great food options. Burgers and nduja scotch egg tasted great.
The room felt a bit small. There was no comfortable chair. An unnecessary table occupied the space where a chair could fit.

I booked a standard double room and it was huge. the complimentary chocolates were a nice touch and i got a personalized welcome note. the bed was comfortable. The towels were large and new. our early breakfast was delicious. Everything was freshly cooked and served with a smile.
Tourists were everywhere. they were constantly outside the hotel. It got quite crowded.

the sunday evening staff acted brisk, and they were not cute. we cancelled dinner and felt let down. the first night team's attitude made a negative impression. this dampened the experience.

the location is amazing. i could explore the surrounding area so easily. the staff treated me with so much care. breakfast each morning in the conservatory was such a treat, offering plenty of options.
i did notice some very slight wear and tear on some furniture, though it didn't really affect my stay.
