i noticed the bedroom overlooked a private dwelling, so i had to keep the curtains closed. i also noticed the room was above the function room. it was noisy when there were groups of people in it. the paint was peeling off the ceiling too (it needs refurbishing).

pleasant surprise!

amazing foodlast roomlovely beer gardennoisy dining
I found the food to be amazing. It's a place i would consider bringing my extended family for a meal. the deserts were good. i'd definitely consider staying again, but would maybe want a slightly bigger room as the one i had was the last one available last minute. the beer garden was a nice bonus!
I noticed a minor thing. The dining in the conservatory felt a little too hot, and also a bit noisy. it seemed quite full, so it wasn't the most relaxing experience. the hotel room also required curtains closed for privacy.
