Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's unique, quirky feel and modern, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Little touches like in-room flapjacks, sweets, and luxury toiletries are frequently mentioned as a plus, as is the guest kitchen with complimentary snacks. Some guests have found the breakfast arrangements a bit unusual, particularly the limited seating in the kitchen area. For dining, the burgers and pies in the restaurant are a popular choice and the optional full English breakfast is considered superb, making the hotel a great choice for those looking to explore the local Lancashire attractions or seeking a relaxed wedding venue near the local park bandstand.

this self-catering hotel is great! i found it very clean with neat, comfortable beds. the showers WERE excellent. it was annexed to the hotel so i knew assistance was at hand if needed. pubs and supermarkets like tesco and lidl are within walking distance.
the breakfast arrangements seemed strange. if you wanted a full english, you had to pay, however if you didn't, there were cereals, yogurts, bread, butter, jam and croissants in a separate kitchen. there was little to no seating available, only a windowsill.

The room had a comfortable bed with quality linens and a great bathroom. The walk-in shower worked very well. The location was good for busing to the football ground. I appreciated the friendly staff and the tasty food in the evening.
