the hotel provided soundproofing. the room was quiet dispite its busy location. the room was clean. this helped.
bathrooms where small even for the room type i booked. the towels where stained. the staff did not replace them with better towels. the hotel is missing gym facilities.

The hotel's design and location were really good. the bathroom and room size suited two adults perfectly. i especially enjoyed the rooftop pool. The views of the surrounding area are fantastic, i could have stayed longer.
The rooms were not soundproofed well. Street sounds were quite noticeable.

jazz night and bubbly!

we got a super friendly welcome at the front desk. they told us about all the extras. they even gave us a room upgrade. the bar area was so cool. it was really fun to sit there and enjoy a drink. i enjoyed the jazz night that the hotel held. it was an amazing touch. a bottle of champaign showed up. it was chilled.
the breakfast buffet was great. some items, like bacon and beans, were cold. the hot food took about 15 mins to arrive. it was only lukewarm.

the hotel has a fantastic location for exploring. our room had complimentary red wine and water which was a nice touch. breakfast was excellent offering fresh fruit pastries and coffee.
i found there was minimal storage space. the room only had one slim cupboard. the window was small giving it an attic feel.

The staff was helpful with directions. The concierge secured reservations at a local restaurant. the jazz concert held in the library on friday night was a very nice experience! the rooftop pool area provided a relaxing escape during the day. the included breakfast was delicious, with many options.

i was charmed by the complimentary bottle of wine in my room. the room also featured a smeg kettle and fridge. breakfast offered an really good variety with fresh fruit and pastries. joanna, a member of the breakfast team, was very helpful each morning.
i found that hot food delivery could be improved. the bacon and beans at the buffet were unfortunately cold. there was no menu available to order hot food.
