the staff seemed nice and very friendly to everyone. the bar staff i met were very helpful and really accommodating to my requests.

they had overbooked the rooms, a single bed was in place of the double i had booked. i am sure the bartender tried to help, offering free drinks but i wanted a double bed.

The room was clean. It included a separate bathroom. The bed felt comfortable. I found soap, shampoo, and an iron with an ironing board in the room. I also liked the kettle provided, along with coffee and tea..

The pub music was quite loud. I could clearly hear it from my room. The music seemed to get louder around 9:30 or 10 pm.

The room offered soap, shampoo, an ironing board, and a kettle. it also had a tv and even shortbread. the location is ideal. A chinese takeaway is across the road and a co-op is up the hill. the beach is a five-minute walk away (perfect for a quick stroll).

the music from the pub was very loud, especially around 9:30 pm. i found this disruptive. it made relaxing difficult. the noise was a real issue.
