I REALLY appreciated the good restaurant food. The rooms included comfy beds, a HUGE plus after a long day of travel. The staff provided excellent service. They were so attentive. I would return because the location is quiet.
During my visit, the communal corridors needed vacuuming as they looked a little dusty.

lovely buildingswell-kept gardens
the buildings are lovely and the gardens are well-kept. i found the food in the restaurant excellent, especially the steak and ale pie (i thought it was great).
my room lacked a fan, made regulating the temperature a bit tricky.
