It is a 20-minute bus ride to the city center via Lothian Bus number 11, which runs every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes on Sundays; the closest bus stop is a 2-minute walk. Bus numbers 15 and 16 also connect the city center and the hotel. Taxis are available from ranks in the city center, including outside the bus and rail stations. The hotel is located near the Pentland Hills.
