Guests often highlight the spaciousness of the rooms, with some mentioning suites featuring separate living areas and kitchen facilities including a full-sized fridge. The included breakfast is frequently praised, and the restaurant is considered a gem, especially for dinner. The hotel's proximity to train links into Bath is a definite plus, although a few guests have found the Victorian bedroom decor to be a bit old-fashioned.

My room was FREEZING!!! The heating barely worked. The shower temperature was also inconsistent. It alternated between scalding hot and cold. I tried to adjust it, but nothing seemed to work. The television had a limited selection of channels, too. It was annoying to deal with these issues.
