“In my opinion, the hotel's strongest suit is its prime lakeside location in Menaggio, a town I consider a more relaxed alternative to Bellagio and Varenna. I was especially impressed by reports of renovated rooms offering lake views and balconies, which, combined with on-site dining, create a wonderfully immersive experience. Also, the hotel is steps from the ferry, which I find makes it especially convenient for exploring the area.”

the location was alright, close enough to things.
the room was small. i hate that the walls seemed really thin, i could hear everything. breakfast sucked, felt cheap and not fresh.

The location was convenient for exploring nearby towns. The ferry port was a short walk. my room had a balcony offering a great lake view (i was really impressed). the hotel staff answered all my questions promptly.

waterfront terrace decent breakfast
The location is near the ferry stop. It made travel simple. breakfast on the waterfront terrace was a treat. The view was nice.
The shower was very small. It was hard to turn around.

excellent stay with fantastic views
beautiful views great restaurant nice staff
the location was superb near the ferry port and town square. i secured a balcony room offering beautiful views. the restaurant staff were fabulous especially barbara and michelle who took great care of us i hope to return soon.
the floor needed some repair and the doors weren't soundproof you could hear people walking while you were asleep.

lake como perfection
quick trip lovely water
I loved the hotel's proximity to the ferry terminal. it allowed quick trips to varenna and bellagio. our room had two balconies where i could listen to the water. That was so relaxing. we checked out, but the hotel held our bags. this helped us avoid lugging them around all day.
the soundproofing was not great. i woke up during the night when guests above me entered their room. the floorboards creaked loudly with every step i heard.

the hotel is perfectly close to everything. it is right on the lake, so the views are AMAZING!!! the ferries are a short walk. i found it very convenient for exploring the area.

Restaurant del porto felt elegant. the prices were not inflated at dinner. breakfast had many options. It was relaxed and well-catered. the coffee machine made different kinds of coffee.

effective air conditioning dining experience breakfast pastries
The room included air conditioning which was very effective. The on-site restaurant provided a great dining experience with views. The breakfast buffet featured a selection of pastries.
