The room was beautiful. It had a balcony overlooking the garden. Dinner was excellent. The package included a bottle of wine. I enjoyed dancing to the singer in the restaurant. Matthew was fantastic!!!
The pool complex was to be an afterthought with poor access and changing areas.

The staff was helpful and efficient. they managed to fit me in at the last minute. the room was large and clean. It was very comfortable.
i spent a lot on a suite with a balcony. we had a power cut as we sat down for dinner and the lights were flashing. the hotel insisted that we paid for the meal.

i enjoyed the spacious rooms they were so comfortable. the blackout curtains helped me sleep well the beds were good. the food was always spot on it was to a high standard.
i was disappointed the pool complex seemed like an afterthought with poor access. i had difficulty using the changing areas they were also poor. i found the atmosphere cold the views from the pool looked over a garden and into a house.

The staff were cute and efficient. i found the food in the restaurant very good both for the evening meal and breakfast. The staff serving in the evening were great. the hotel's location is convenient off the m6. i found the swimming and spa facilities a good way to recharge after a long drive.
I was informed that i needed to pay extra for the pool, i thought it was included. Access is also limited to 90 minutes.

some issues with the facilities and food

poor accessunderwhelming food
I was excited about the spa treatment and pool access. the pool complex was like an afterthought. The access was difficult. i also found the changing areas subpar and quite small, sharing a limited space! the restaurant food was underwhelming. the lancashire hotpot had hardly any lamb.
