Dining at Universal
Hotel Barcelona Universal's Medea serves a hot and cold buffet breakfast, including healthy options from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., featuring seasonal fruit, cured meats, and baked goods. Tuniversal Terrace Lounge also offers an exclusive selection of tapas with a Mediterranean flair, along with a variety of cocktails from 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A full evening course, including dinner, coffee, and a drink, will often cost no more than 20. From 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. we offer different dining options.
Leisure and Wellness
Hotel Barcelona Universal has a pool surrounded by two terraces on the 10th floor, offering views of the Barcelona skyline, Montjuïc, the Port, Avinguda Paral·lel, and Plaza Espanya. The solarium is equipped with deck chairs and showers. The fitness room is equipped with towels and water. The outdoor swimming pool is restricted during the winter months (December to March). Hours for the Pool are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm daily.
Location and Transport
Located on Avinguda del Paral·lel, Hotel Barcelona Universal is near Plaza Espanya, Gran Vía, the Port, Ronda Litoral, and Las Ramblas. The hotel is near Palau Sant Jordi, Gran Vía, Barcelona's convention centers, and the World Trade Center. From Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Barcelona's El Prat Airport, take the L9 line to Zona Universitaria, switch to the L3 line, and ride to Paral·lel. From the station at Terminal 2 of Barcelona's El Prat Airport, the train leaves every 10 minutes for Sants Station, where you can board the L3 Metro Line to the Paral·lel stop. The bus lines that stop nearby the hotel include the 21, 24, 91, 121, H14, the D20, and the V11. The N0 and N6 night buses have stops close to the hotel. The Barcelona Tourist Bus stops steps from the hotel, at Plaza Espanya (Red Route). The closest RENFE stop is Sants Station, accessible on the L3 line. The closest railway stop is at Plaza Espanya, reachable by taking the L3 line to Paral·lel.
