Banff International Hostel offers dorm rooms and private rooms. Dorm rooms include female-only (4-6 bunks), male-only (8 bunks), and co-ed (4-9 bunks) options. All dorm rooms feature shared bathroom facilities and lockers, as well as mini-fridges. Private rooms accommodate groups or families of four or more, featuring four, six, or eight bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom. Linens, pillows, and blankets are provided. Select rooms feature a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi and linens are included.

The Banff Avenue Liquor Store is located within the hostel and offers a range of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Staff can provide recommendations for pairings. A microwave and refrigerator are available in a common area for guest use.

Roam Bus routes provide transportation options: Route 1 runs along Banff Ave, Route 2 runs from Tunnel Mountain Campground to the Banff Springs Hotel, Route 4 runs from north downtown to the Cave and Basin and the Upper Hot Springs and Gondola, Route 6 runs to Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka (summer only), Route 7 leaves from the High School to the Banff Centre, and Route 8 takes you to Lake Louise.
