Grande Rockies Resort has more than 140 units. Accommodations include one- and two-bedroom condo-style suites in the main resort building, and standard hotel rooms in the separate annex building. Suites feature a full kitchen with dishwasher, one king size bed, double pull out sofa bed, one full bathroom with stand up shower, in-suite laundry, desk, iPod alarm clock, iron & ironing board, free Wi-Fi, two flat screen TVs, a gas fireplace, patio/balcony and barbecue. Each standard hotel room in the annex building has 250 square feet of space, two double beds, desk, mini-fridge, microwave, alarm clock, iron & ironing board, free Wi-Fi, a 40 "flat screen TV, telephone, marble bathroom, rainfall shower, arm chair and ottoman. Two-storey Grande Penthouses are on the top floor.
Dining at Resort
The Grande Kitchen + Bar, located in the Lobby, serves a mix of Italian cuisine and French cuisine with Eastern influences. The menu includes unique and traditional choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is open daily for dine-in and takeout.
Leisure & Entertainment
The resort has an on-site waterpark with a heated indoor pool, kid's splash pool, and a 3-storey waterslide. There is also an indoor/outdoor hot tub. Guests have access to the fitness centre, with cardio equipment and free weights. Stay(R) | Well amenities include stand-up paddle boards, fat tire bikes, snowshoes, and hiking gear. Nearby activities include hiking, biking, white-water rafting, kayaking, fishing, snow-shoeing, ice walking, ice climbs, and dog sledding. Banff Mount Norquay Ski Resort is nearby. Grande Rockies Resort is located at 901 Mountain Street in Canmore, Alberta, near Lifeways Gallery, Carter-Ryan Gallery And Live Theatre, and RAW Distillery. It is a 20-minute drive to Banff townsite and 15 minutes to Kananaskis Country. Calgary International Airport (YYC) is approximately 122 kilometers (76 miles) east of Canmore. The Canmore Municipal Heli-port is near the Three Sisters Peaks. Banff Airporter provides shuttle service between YYC & Canmore with pick-ups and drop-offs at the Coast Hotel, a 7-minute walk from the resort.
