The breakfast was really good. Locally sourced ingredients and skilled preparation created a nice start to each day. I found a fridge available in the lounge, very useful. The modern breakfast room also features a bar with a good selection of drinks.

There was no lift, so carrying luggage to the upper floors needed extra effort.

i loved the cleanliness of the guest house! the sea view from my beautiful double room was amazing! the breakfast offered a great selection, and i appreciated how friendly and cute the owners were! plus the location was perfect for exploring the town, i could easily walk to everything i wanted to see!

the hotel faces directly the sea with great views of the bay. the bus service stops right outside the hotel. its location is convenient for visiting lancaster university and right on the beach front.

mixed feelings about my stay

small room street noise

the location was good near the beach

i was quite disappointed with the room size it felt smaller than advertised the bathroom was cramped i found some hairs. the noise from the street was noticeable even late at night it disrupted my sleep. this made it hard to relax properly

my room included a king size bed with a lovely sea view. the bathroom was very clean and featured a powerful shower. viv and carl are warm and friendly hosts.

finding parking directly outside sometimes required patience.

the guest house has easy access to the promenade for walking. it is near the market which is open on tuesday thursday saturday and sunday. finding parking can be challenging at times though there are various nearby options.
