SarapiquiS Rainforest Lodge is inspired by indigenous pre-Columbian construction. The rooms are within five palenque structures with thatched roofs. Rooms feature tiled floors, nightstands, and private bathrooms with showers and toilets. Each room has a terrace with garden views. The air conditioned rooms are incorporated in one semi Palenque structure.
Dining Options
The lodge has two restaurants: Restaurant El Sereno serves a la carte meals, and Restaurant José Castulo Zeledon serves buffet-style meals. Guests may select meals based on local and vegetarian cuisines. The restaurant terrace overlooks the Sarapiqui River and Tirimbina rainforest canopy. SarapiquiS Rainforest Lodge is 60 km from Aeropuerto de La Fortuna. The park is set in an orange orchard, where a Pre-Columbian tomb field was discovered in 1999.
