Wonderful Stay and Great Food

This was my first time at this hotel. I stayed for several nights . The room was quite spacious, comfy and very clean. The dinner menu presented nice options for food in the evening. I particularly appreciated the lovely garden, perfect for eating and relaxing outdoors. The breakfast was great (i especially liked the pancakes).
The shower was temperamental. The range was very narrow between freezing and scalding, slightly inconvenient.

The location is fantastic for exploring. It is just a short, two-minute walk into town. The hotel is well equipped for bike storage. There is a lovely garden.

Wonderful Stay with Really good Food!

the breakfast had a good choice and was well prepared.
the water served in bottles was, shall we say, not exactly pristine. in my vegetarian chili, i discovered a good piece of plastic paper. there was no apology after i mentioned it.

I enjoyed the location and the bike storage. the shower was temperamental. There was a small range between freezing and scalding temperatures. It was difficult to find a comfortable setting. the glazing was thin near a noisy road.

i find the room spacious and light. the deep bath were a big plus after a long days walk. the staff was very helpful and kind, and we even got a towel for our muddy dog.
i did find the shower to be temperamental, going from freezing to scalding very quickly.
