attentive staff clean room
the staff were attentive to parking. the room had what i needed and was also clean. i appreciated the location near the harbour and its convenience for exploring.
the pillows felt lumpy and hard i did not sleep as well as i could have

The staff was amazing! They helped us store our bikes and bags safely even after we checked out. I loved that. The continental breakfast included tea, freshly cut bread, and various cereals. It totally hit the spot. The location is superb. The beach is just a short walk away.
The parking situation was difficult (but I think it's like that everywhere here). The room's decor and carpet looked pretty tired. The shower unit in the bathroom looked quite old. I wish they were a bit newer!

a decent stay overall

friendly staff great location parking issue mould issue
the staff were friendly and helpful. they allowed us to check in early since we arrived by train, a great bonus. the location is fantastic, near the beach, shops, and the theatre.
I found some issues . the parking situation was problematic, and i spent extra money on parking. the room had mould around the window and ceiling. This was concerning.

a somewhat decent stay.

helpful staff great location sloping ceiling third floor
the staff was super helpful at check in, i really appreciated that. they explained everything very clearly and quickly. the hotel has a great location right on the seafront, such a bonus! it's also very close to the harbour, which i love.
the room was on the third floor, and wow, that's a climb! especially after a long day exploring. the room had sloping ceilings and this was a big issue for my husband. he is quite tall, you see.

lovely break!

quick check-in super clean room luggage storage
i had such a fab time. staff checked me in fast. the room was super clean and had everything i needed. i especially like that they stored my luggage after checkout. that was a big help, and i really appreciate it.
the side lights in my room didn't work, only the main light. i think they should check them.

I found the location VERY central. The staff was helpful, AND friendly. The room included ample tea and coffee. The shower had nice hair gel, TOO.
The carpet was dirty. That was a downside. The receptionist in the evening was RUDE, unfortunate. The hotel lacked an elevator. It was quite a climb with luggage.
