dated hotelloud music

the downstairs area looked renovated but the rest of the place screamed 'outdated' a far cry from what i'd expect at a four-star hotel. hallways had carpets on top of carpets plus old food seemed to hang around forever. our upgraded room came with sky bar music so loud sleep became a luxury. our room wasn't cleaned twice and someone switched our door hanger to 'do not disturb'.

Fantastic Seaside Stay!

I found the staff friendly! The hotel boasts a beautiful pool, a real highlight, with amazing views. Breakfast was a treat. I enjoyed the great selection including fresh fruit. I especially liked happy hour between 6-7 at the rooftop bar. The sunset views were gorgeous.

The gym facilities are somewhat limited. It really needs more modern fitness equipment.

dishonest practicetruck stop

I found a couple of things less than thrilling, to put it mildly. the 'mineral water' at the restaurant tasted suspiciously like tap water. I suspect they refilled the bottles. the food at the restaurant wasn't exactly stellar either. I've had better meals at roadside stops. it was a bold move charging those prices.

Fantastic Stay with Amazing Views!!!

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It offered a great variety of food. A chef prepared omelettes and eggs upon request. I especially appreciated the short walk to the restaurants in Marina Grande. It took about five minutes. Sorrento town was accessible with a 15-20 minute uphill walk, or via a local bus.

The music from the sky bar was quite loud. It made it hard to fall asleep in my upgraded room.

Our room lacked proper soundproofing. I heard noise constantly and it made sleep nearly impossible. The parking garage was very expensive and inconvenient.
