Dining at Don Alfonso
The Don Alfonso 1890 Restaurant innovates, respecting local culture and the food tradition of the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. The organic farm Le Peracciole produces most ingredients. The restaurant earned two Michelin stars. Dishes include citrus-flavored risotto with sea urchin emulsion, scampi and caviar, and guinea fowl stuffed with Sicilian pistachios. Breakfast includes bacon, farm eggs, local oranges, homemade cakes and jams, and honey from the farm, served on Vietri ceramics. There is a small shop selling olive oil, tomatoes, limoncello and other products from the farm. Guests can enjoy the restaurant which specialises in healthy cuisine, whether you eat in the pink and white restaurant itself or in the glorious garden.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can enjoy a pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Other activities include trips to the family farm and lessons at the Don Alfonso 1890 School, which teaches Mediterranean cuisine. Scuba diving is available in the area. The hotel entrance, through wrought iron gates, leads into a garden. Shaded seating areas are set out around the flower-filled garden. There is also a cellar on site.
