The location was convenient for what I needed.
The room was not clean. It was actually filthy. The receptionist was nice and moved me to another room, but it was still very dirty!

The staff at check in were fine. The location was acceptable, near public transportation.
The room I got was NOT clean. There was hair in the bathroom, a stain on the curtain and a general musty smell lingered. The shower design was awful. Water leaked everywhere after each use. One side of the bed lacked a nightstand, a REALLY inconvenient detail.

the location was good for walking to the city center , and the staff were friendly enough.
i was pretty annoyed the room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. there were stains on the carpet and some dust in the corners of the bathroom. additionally , the noise from the street was much louder than i expected. i expected better soundproofing for the price i paid.

the location is good for getting around. oxford street is right there. the room was clean. the bed was comfy. the staff handled my check in fast. i got a quick upgrade too, it was a nice surprise.
the bathroom layout seemed a little weird. it felt open.

the hotel offers nearby parking. it also has a cafe downstairs with good coffee. i saw many people having meals there. it seemed a very busy area during the day.

the upgrade to a bigger room with a larger bed and balcony was a lovely surprise upon arrival close to 11pm. transport options were easily accessible, and many cute cafes were nearby. navigating the city was simple from this spot.
the bathroom walls were transparent, a design choice i found quite awkward. it limited privacy more than i expected with a travel partner.

I really liked how the foyer looked and smelled. the cafe in the foyer was also great (i got a coffee every morning). The staff was friendly. the location was good for accessing the city.
i stayed for a few nights and parking was charged upon check-in. other hotels only charge at the end of the stay. the bathroom tap seemed oddly placed to me.
