Accommodations and Amenities
Zion National Park Lodge is the only lodging option located inside Zion National Park. It offers spacious accommodations and is near many miles of hiking trails. Rooms feature air conditioning, balconies, terraces, in-room climate control, hair dryers, televisions, and telephones. Laundry and staff adhere to procedures for handling linens based on guidance from the Association for Linen Management.
Dining at Zion Lodge
The Red Rock Grill, located in the main lodge building, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It serves breakfast for two for each night's stay. The views from the large windows overlook the canyon floor and stone walls, competing with entrees such as steaks, pecan crusted trout, and vegetarian dishes. A café serves coffee, espresso, and cinnamon buns in the morning. Red Rock Grill serves an incredible dining experience, paired with views.
Leisure and Activities
Guests have access to climbing, backpacking, canyoneering, and birdwatching opportunities. Zion offers many trails, ranging from short walks to strenuous adventures. The Pa'rus Trail provides a paved option for bicyclists, pedestrians, and people with strollers and wheelchairs to visit the lower Zion Canyon. A six-and-a-half-mile scenic drive runs along the Virgin River, providing views of the canyon, including red rock towers standing 2,000 feet overhead. Guests can stop at parking areas for short hikes and photo opportunities.
Location and Access
Zion Lodge lies in the middle of a hiker's paradise. The lodge is 85 km from St. George Municipal Airport. McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, NV is the closest major city/airport. It is traveling on Highway 9 from Bryce Canyon National Park or from Lake Powell via the junction of Highways 9 and 89. Landmarks nearby include Zion's Main Canyon (3.5 km), Court of the Patriarchs (1 km), Angels Landing (2 km), Three Patriarchs (1.5 km), Cable Mountain (3 km), Zion National Park Lodge (0.5 km), and The Great White Throne (2 km).
Essential Park Information
Zion National Park offers over 146 acres of cliffs, canyons, and diverse plant and animal life. Destinations not to be missed include Checkerboard Mesa and the Temple of Sinawava. Note that a Service Dog is defined as a dog trained to do work or perform tasks for a guest with a disability.
