Wine Resort Dievole (Adults Only) offers 27 rooms in converted farm buildings. The rooms provide air conditioning, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a sitting area. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, soundproofed walls, garden furniture, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Bathrooms feature free toiletries, bathrobes, a shower, a bidet, and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer a terrace or patio, and some have pool views. Suites include a living room and a separate bedroom. Extra beds or cots are not available.
Dining at Dievole
Dievole's restaurant provides a menu featuring regional products, often organic. Typical à la carte options include saffron risotto with prawn tartare and Burrata cheese. Guests can enjoy two theme nights each week: dinner in the wine cellar on Wednesdays and a barbecue in the roses garden on Fridays. The resort also offers a free breakfast buffet. The bright new manager, Andrea Alocci, has incorporated fish and seafood from Tuscany's West coast into the menu. Some of the villa's produce, including olive oil and wines, is served. Wine tours and tastings are available. Guests can also try a candlelight dinner inside the historical cellars and Dino's famous barbeque, one of the resort's winemasters.
Leisure and Activities
Wine Resort Dievole provides two outdoor swimming pools. There are Renaissance-style gardens and walled terraces. Guests can explore 17 miles of nature trails, suitable for mountain biking, horse riding, or trekking. The resort features lounges, a bar, and a fine restaurant. Cooking lessons are available.
Location and Access
Wine Resort Dievole (Adults Only) is located in one of the most scenic areas of central Tuscany near Vagliagli. It commands soaring views across Chianti and the Montagnola ridges. Landmarks nearby include La Fornace Art Gallery (4 km), Pieve di San Felice (2.5 km), Casafrassi (4 km), and Chianti Sculpture Park (3.5 km). The resort is 70 km from Peretola.
