Outdoor Activities: Access to kayaking and scenic walks

“Nestled beside the river in Llangollen, I envision it as a family-friendly hotel, with some rooms promising lovely views and the soothing sounds of water; on-site, the spa, though dated, includes a hot tub and sauna. With its diverse dining options and proximity to attractions like Chirk Castle, it seems well-placed for exploring the region, but renovations appear to be underway. Overall, it has potential.”

Acceptable Stay, but Needs Improvement

The location near the river was convenient.
The room felt quite dated, and the furniture showed wear and tear. The lift was not working, a real issue. the continental breakfast was not available, disappointing.

dated facilities, some issues

broken jacuzzidamaged furniture
The spa area i used was really lacking. tiles were falling off the ceiling and the smoke alarm was hanging loose. the jacuzzi didn't work correctly. It was cold, only half the jets were working, and the drain lacked a cover, i felt was a safety hazard. our room got hot, being right above the spa. condensation covered the window, and the fan controls seemed broken. the furniture was damaged and the walls were unfinished. i found the experience disappointing.
