Whitepod Original, 55 km from Sion, offers stays in pod suites and 9 chalet-suites, 2 of which are two-storey for privacy amongst family or friends. Guests can create common bonds and memories that reinforce the team, help them work together and build a strong team. Pod options include Zen, Forest, or Swiss themes, with amenities such as a sauna or private bath and breakfast delivered to the Pod. Standard Pods can accommodate 2 children on the mezzanine. Deluxe Pods have Wi-Fi. The color of the pods changes according to the season: white in winter, green in summer. The property offers activity where the goal will be to build an igloo or hut depending on the weather. The geometrical shape of a pod is called geodesic: a spherical structure consisting of a network of triangles. Each pod is heated by a pellet stove and includes a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer, towels, and amenities.
Alpine Cuisine
Guests can enjoy tea, coffee, home-made cakes, and pastries in the Pod House. The Restaurant La TSIJIRI serves alpine cuisine, including fondue, and is located in the middle of the pods. Breakfast features local products; pod suite guests enjoy room service, while other guests can have breakfast at the Alpine Brasserie, Les Cerniers. The alpine brewery of Les Cerniers is a gateway to culinary exploration. A 4-course gourmet menu is available at Les Cerniers. Guests can start their day with a breakfast made from carefully selected local products.
Wellness and Activities
Whitepod Original provides a wellness area with an outdoor heated Swedish bath integrated into the landscape. Two massages will participate in the magic of your stay. Guests can participate in workshops, including wine tasting, giant mikado, butter making contest, and blindfolded orientation. The property offers activity where the goal will be to build an igloo or hut depending on the weather. The outdoor heated Swedish bath will delight young and old alike. Wellness journey starts in Social Cabin, with its three immersive gyms, refreshing ice room and sauna. Then enjoy a pleasant 15-minute stroll through the enchanting countryside to the Whitepod Spa. Limited transportation within the camp means that you have to walk from the reception to your pod. This is an integral part of the Whitepod experience. During winter, sled dog rides are available.
Location and Access
Located in the village of Les Cerniers, in the canton of Valais, Whitepod Original sits at the foot of the Dents-du-Midi mountain range in the Swiss Alps. Sion is 55 km away. The location provides views of the surrounding mountains and the Rhone plain. Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive. Services include luggage transport via skidoo in winter and Wi-Fi at the Pod-house and in Deluxe pods and Suites. Whitepod limits evening lighting, ensuring a tranquil environment for both guests and undisturbed wildlife. There is a free parking area in front of the chalet Les Cerniers.
