Each room is designed with comfort in mind and includes amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers. The accommodations provide a blend of historical charm with modern conveniences.

On-Site Distillery

A standout feature of Springbank Manor is the on-site Whitehall Distillery, which hosts a two-hour Gin Masterclass. During this interactive session, guests can craft their personalized gin while sampling several options distilled on-site. The experience concludes with a gin cocktail made from the hotel's own distilled spirits.

Dining Options

Dining at Cromwells Eatery offers a taste of local culinary history, named after Oliver Cromwell, who stayed nearby. Guests can enjoy an extensive afternoon tea selection featuring homemade baked cakes and sandwiches, available with advance notice. The hotel also provides exclusive in-room and restaurant dining options for guests' convenience.

Highlights

On-Site Distillery: Whitehall Distillery with Gin Masterclass

Dining: Cromwells Eatery offers extensive afternoon tea

Accommodations: Recently refurbished en-suite luxury accommodation

Event Space: Springbank suite for special occasions

“Springbank Manor strikes me as a multifaceted venue, capable of hosting both memorable weddings and gin-focused getaways, all within a historic Victorian setting. The award-winning restaurant and exclusive gin masterclass stand out, though some accommodations appear less impressive than others. It's a place with clear strengths, particularly regarding events and dining, but one should inquire about specific room options beforehand.”

Springbank Manor provides guests with spacious and spotless rooms, where comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep. Many guests enjoy the freshly prepared breakfast, appreciating the good choices available. The bar and lounge, with their brightly coloured furniture, are a highlight, with the gin experience being a particular favourite; however, some have mentioned that the gin was actively promoted, which they found off-putting.

charming stay with excellent service

lovely atmospherefriendly staffdelicious malbecinoperative jacuzzi
i dined at the hotel restaurant one evening the atmosphere felt pleasant and the service was attentive. the staff members were friendly and very professional always ready to assist. my ribeye was cooked exactly as requested on a hot plate i considered it a perfectly prepared meal. i appreciated the good malbec available to complement the meal.
the bathroom featured a large bath that looked appealing however the jacuzzi function was not operational. this was a minor disappointment since i was looking forward to using it. a fully functioning jacuzzi would greatly enhance the room experience.

outdated roomsbad attitude
I found two issues . the room was somewhat outdated, some serious upgrades are needed. the staff seemed overly insistent that guests sample their gin. When my party declined, the staff became rather rude and ignored our subsequent requests. It was a disappointing attitude overall.

Acceptable Stay

attentive stafflounge furniturenice breakfastold roompeeling wallpaperchipped skirting
The staff showed attentiveness. Carmella and Lottie stood out. The bar and lounge area featured appealing new furniture. Breakfast proved very nice, a lovely start.
The room was old. Wallpaper was peeling in places, giving a worn look. Skirting boards showed some chips and there were stains on the ceiling. Some minor touch-ups would help a lot.

Okay stay overall

spacious roomcomfy bedlimited breadbreakfast option
The room was very spacious and super clean. It also had everything I needed for my stay. The bed provided was really comfy. I had a good night's sleep.
The choice of bread was limited at breakfast. I requested brown bread, but it was only supplied on the second day. It would be better if they had more options available daily.
