The Westgate serves breakfast each morning. The main menu features local and seasonal produce, available throughout the day, with options such as traditional fish and chips, pie and mash, and Sunday roast. A lunch menu and freshly-made sandwiches are also available. The Flint Square offers a space for drinks or dining between the bar and The Mezzanine. Guests can enjoy local drinks such as Prowler Pale ale from the Red Cat brewery. Every Sunday, roasts are served from 12 PM to 6 PM. The bar is open for afternoon and evening drinks, with staff available to help guests navigate the gin, whiskey, and local ale selections.

Pre-order packages and bookable areas are available, and the team can provide buffet and event menus. Festive season offerings include mulled wine and Prosecco receptions. The Westgate is near Winchester landmarks, Winchester Cathedral (500 meters) and Wolvesey Castle (800 meters). It is 20 km from Southampton. The Westgate is a 5-6 minute walk from Winchester Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Winchester Central Bus Station. Tower Street multi-story car park is 150 yards away, with chargeable parking at approximately £18 per 24 hours. Parking is available at the Train Station Car Park. Bicycles are available for hotel guests.
