Excellent Stay Near Highclere
lovely building quiet room green space
The location was convenient for visiting Highclere Castle. I found the building lovely, and despite being near the A34, the room was quiet (a real plus). The enclosed green space was great for dogs. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the quality ingredients.
I noticed that the quantity of food served during one meal was noticeably small. The dessert had a questionable description, with barely enough custard provided.

The hotel is excellently situated for visiting Highclere Castle, with a convenient base for exploring this iconic landmark. The surrounding area provides a tranquil escape. Access to nearby attractions is straightforward.
Facilities
8/10

Rooms
9/10
The room included soft beds. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, offering comfort. I found the room quiet despite the hotel's proximity to a major road (A34).
