“This historic building in Brecon's heart offers a blend of period charm and modern amenities, suiting those exploring the Brecon Beacons. Its pet-friendly approach and beer garden add to the appeal, though some experiences seem inconsistent. I think it is a fine place, but the service must be flawless.”

the location was acceptable (close to many amenities).
The room was not properly serviced . i specifically requested a more thorough cleaning, along with milk and tea bags, but the room was only tidied. furthermore, the breakfast service was odd. There was limited selection and slow service. the staff looked understaffed and stressed.

signature sharer quick service accessible access mouldy seal stained floor bath taps
I enjoyed the signature sharer meal option at the pub. The chef seems to put time and effort into each dish. Starters and mains arrived quickly, I was not kept waiting. The pub itself is clean and has accessible access.
The bathroom needed some attention. I saw mould on the seal around the bath, bath taps did not work. There was hair all over the floor, the floor was stained. I noticed mould on the ceiling in the bathroom.
