Hotel Vagar is in the village of Sørvágur on Vágar Island. It is a 5-minute walk from the airport. It is about 50 km from Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. The hotel looks out across the runway where planes take off and land. The hotel is surrounded by rolling, mossy hills. Múlafossur, Trælanípan, and Drangarnir are sightseeing attractions on Vagar Island. There are opportunities for hiking, fishing and horseback riding.
