Hotel Bloenduos is 5 km from Blonduos, situated on Road nr. 1, making it accessible for travel from Reykjavík and a stopover for exploring northern Iceland. The hotel is near Icelandic Salmon Centre (2 km), Hrutey Island (2 km), Blonduoskirkja Church (1.5 km), and Heimilisithnatharsafnith Textile Museum (2 km). The Old Town is located on the south side of the Blanda River.
