Upper Court, built in 1760, offers stays in the manor house or in separate cottages. The manor has five rooms that sleep up to 10 adults. Four cottages accommodate groups up to 28 adults, ideal for reunions and events. Each unit has a patio, a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, a fireplace, and a seating area. Also included are a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Certain units have garden and lake views.
Onsite Dining
While Upper Court does not have an onsite restaurant, all accommodations have fully equipped kitchenettes or kitchens with an oven, stovetop, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. Gourmet catering can be arranged, or guests can visit the local pub, The Crown, a six-minute walk away, to enjoy a home-cooked Sunday roast.
Leisure and Activities
Upper Court features a swimming pool, shared lounge, and garden. Guests can play table tennis onsite. The property includes 15 acres of grounds with a private lake, tennis courts, and a children's playground. The Gallery Function Room is equipped with a large screen projector, Apple TV 4K, audio, and WiFi, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. A wood-fired hot tub is available outside the Gallery function room. Other activities include croquet, boating on the lake, and pottery experiences.
