The room was modern and large. Tea and coffee facilities were great. The spa was peaceful with a large pool, a huge jacuzzi. steam and ice rooms. Its great that i did not pay extra to use it.

I found the lockers required a room key to use and i only took one to the changing rooms.

The hotel offers a gym included in the stay price and it is very well equipped. The spa provides a large aqua pool and a large swimming pool, accessible for free to hotel guests and i consider this an asset.

The hotel has a very good position as it is close to town along with eateries and independent shops. This is a perfect location to walks in Peak District i enjoyed a lot. This location is calm, away from the traffic.

the hotel features free ample parking. the decor was quite modern. air conditioning and blackout curtains were installed in the room. i found the location convenient, close to many attractions.

lifts were small and at an awkward position, made them hard to access.

the spa had a very hot jacuzzi. the steam and sauna were also available. i found them perfect after long days.

I noticed the pool was quite busy with many children. It felt more like a leisure centre than a hotel pool.

I found the staff very cute and helpful. the rooms were very clean. the bed was comfortable! although i stayed for only a single day, i enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and relaxed outside. I enjoyed a drink with a view of the golf course.

the course was closed one of the mornings because of overnight rain. this was a ridiculous decision because there was no standing water on the course.
