The room had french windows onto a sheltered outside sitting area, i liked this. the bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. I slept well. the breakfast options were excellent and there was a very good choice.
the outdoor lighting near our room suddenly switched on at 1:30am on sunday morning. this was very disruptive to our sleep, as the room was too bright. cleanliness in the room was also below standard, with cobwebs throughout and a shower was not properly cleaned in the corners.

charming norfolk stay

rspb reservehelpful staffopen fireneeded repair
The location near the rspb reserve was convenient! the staff were polite. breakfast included both a buffet and cooked options! it was delicious. the open fire in the lounge created a warm atmosphere after a day of birding. The staff, like erica, were friendly. there was great off-street parking available.
i noticed the windows needed some tlc. the walls and woodwork also needed repair! i was a little disappointed with these aspects.

the breakfast was the nicest i have had in a hotel for a long time, i thought. the birdwatching waiter was very helpful, he told us where the tawny owl was, i really appreciated it! we saw him too.
the room was cosy, though not huge for one night. our evening meal was lovely though the staff had to accommodate us as we didn't want to be near any dogs that might be scared.
