our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. the pub being right next to the hotel was a great plus. (i enjoyed a few pints there) the grounds are well maintained with lots of wildlife.

the tv signal wasn't great and i had a little trouble with the remote.

The location was really beautiful. It overlooked the lake where i could watch the swans and ducks on the calm water. The staff were also amazing (hayley especially!). They were some of the loveliest, friendliest, and most helpful people i have ever met.

The hotel felt very dated. There were pen marks on the bedding sheets. The bathroom tiles had previous peoples' dirt and hairs. The balcony was full of moss, and it kept falling from the roof, so it felt dirty.
